Happy Halloween!

We decided to have a pumpkin carving party Monday night- and it was fun! :) The original plan was to go up to Red Butte gardens for their Halloween fun, but as the weather man informed us that it was going to be like 20 degrees, we went with plan B. :)
Grandma Kay, Parker, Brooklyn, and I drove down to "Albertson's Pumpkin Patch" and picked out a few sweet pumpkins for ourselves. I even managed to come away with a battle wound. :0)

Denise and Gary are currently in the middle of some remodeling of the house so we spread out some plastic on the kitchen floor gave everyone a knife and cut away!
I think everyone did a pretty great job, and we were all happy with the results!

St. George

I went with my mom and my little sister, Kim, down to St. George about a week ago to see Aida. We had so much fun! The Tuachan- it's an outdoor ampatherater set in the red rocks of beautiful St. George. Because it is set up a bit from the "city", you can see the stars amazingly well. It is one of my favorite places to be. I love this play- and think everyone should put it on their list of plays to see.:)

This is the stage just before the play started:

My kick A parking job in a CROWDED and BUSY parking lot: :) LOL

Its not a real trip to St. George unless you shop at the outlets!

Denise couldn't make it down this trip- and believe me, she was missed! The three of us managed to have a good time anyway! :)
